The 2008 Cps Pools and Spa, South Central Regional
Championship Series (SCRCS) will be kicking off March 9th in
Mobile, AL. The series is open to any resident of any State. The
series will consist of seven (7) USA Cycling Off-Road sanctioned
races in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi. There will be a cash
payout for Expert and Sport. The payout will go three (3) deep. In
addition the overall series winner will receive a trophy and a jersey to
wear for the next season.
Cps Pools and Spa has donated an 82" x 82" Four Winds Hot Tub
to the race series (delivery and setup not included). The tickets will
be $5.00 and open to anyone to purchase. All the proceeds go
to the SCRCS race series. The drawing will be held at the final
race and you do not have to have to be present to win. Tickets are
available to purchase at Indian Cycle, Bike Rack, and CPS Pools
and Spas as well as each race venue. First place at each race will
receive 3 tickets, second place will receive 2 tickets, and third place
will receive 1 ticket. Pictures of the Spa are at the bottom of this

Race information:
1. Racers must race 5 of the 7 races to qualify. Racers will receive
one (1) drop races (if you participate in all races your lowest place
will be dropped. If you miss one race this will count as your drop
race).
2. There will be a cash overall payout for expert and sport at the end
of the season. The payout will go three (3) deep. The overall series
winner in each class (sport/expert) will receive cash payout, a jersey
to wear the next season, and a trophy. 2nd and 3rd place
(sport/expert) will receive a cash payout and either a trophy, plaque,
or ribbon. Beginner/junior 1st place receives a trophy and jersey to
wear next season, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a trophy,
plaque, or ribbon.
3. There will be a trophy/cash payout for best overall team. Points will
be added up for each team member each race. If a rider switches
teams during the season his/her points stay with the original team.
Points going forward would go to the new team. Riders picked up
during the seasons their points going forward would go to the team.
4. Expert 40+ class will race same number as sport laps.
5. Riders will be issued a race number at the first race in which they
participate. You will use the same number all season long. If you lose
your number there will be a $5.00 replacement fee.
